A new Stellium and full moon in Scorpio
April 22 – 28, 2013
The Aries stellium went out with the expected violence and now we have the Sun, Venus and Mars in solid Taurus. This will be a month of seeking solidity, quality, security and loyalty. It will also be a month of stubbornness and unyielding mind sets for those so inclined.
Taurus is the sign of the abundance of spring and the profusion of growth as well as fertility. New ideas will manifest with ease under the influence of Taurus, as long as they are straightforward and not the pipe-dream sort of ideas. Goals are closer to being gained and a sense of being grounded will ensue now.
On Thursday we have the Full Moon in fearless, secretive Scorpio, joining Saturn. This will have different effects on different people, depending on personality; it will either cause nightmares due to clandestine activities being discovered or it will illuminate the boundaries of limits that are necessary, indicating how much space there is to fill up within and without.
There is a healthy mix of both harmonious and discordant aspects this week to make it very interesting, active and progressive.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Your birthday time brings the new life and plenty of signs of abundance around you along with your own stellium; currently the Sun, your Ruler Venus and Mars are in your sign, all of them opposing stern Saturn in your sector of Relationships. Gemini (May 21- June 20): Three planets now form the Taurus stellium; this would be the Sun, Venus and Mars in that one sign, your sector of Endings/New Beginnings/Collective Unconscious. These heavenly bodies currently oppose Saturn in your sector of Work/Health, indicating a possible new health regime for you due to discovering something going sideways in your system. Discipline is yours during this time due to the planets supporting your strength of resolve. Other aspects are mixed amongst the planets, bringing challenges with solutions, so it’s going to be a very active week. Fortunately, you’ll be able to have your feet on the ground! Cancer (June 21 – July 22): We now have the Taurus stellium involving the Sun, Venus and Mars in your sector of Friends/Goals. They are currently opposing Saturn in your sector of Expansion where Thursday’s Full Moon will also occur. This is actually pretty good for you since you’re a water sign and in need of some practical earth energy to help you see things rationally rather than emotionally. This week’s aspects in general are a good and balanced mix of favorable and unfavorable that will spice up your daily life in a way that reveals information you need as well as accurate assessments to help you see what is really there rather than what your initial judgment may say is there.
Leo (July 23 – August 22): Our new stellium in Taurus is in your sector of Career/Highest Potential. Since Saturn is opposing the three heavenly bodies there, you may feel the need to spend more time at home in order to gain some semblance of privacy and evaluation of your current situation. The Full Moon in your sector of Home (where Saturn is) will shed light on what you need to do in order to initiate the changes you want to make to your life. There is definitely conflict there in terms of stay or leave, stability or change. This week will be a real eye opener for you if you’re paying attention. A mix of other aspects will bring both challenge and good times in a manner that one will complement the other.
Virgo (August 23 – September 21): Our new stellium in Taurus occurs in your sector of Expansion and this week will oppose stern Saturn in your sector of Communicating/Thinking. The Full Moon will also oppose the stellium on Thursday, but hey, you now have four planets in fellow Earth signs and Saturn is making sure stuff gets done correctly! This opposition isn’t quite so bad personally and it is a fast-moving opposition anyway. The entire week is full of movement and action considering all of the planets and their positions relative to each other; for now, comfort and security are your goals and you are likely to manifest that, with compromise. There is always compromise, isn’t there? Sigh.
Libra (September 22 – October 23): We now have a new stellium in sturdy and reliable Taurus, with your Ruler Venus (who also rules Taurus) as one of the three heavenly bodies occupying that sign. With Saturn opposing this new stellium, a foundation is being laid that will be up front and honest, and Thursday’s Full Moon will bring what has been hidden to light so that it can be discovered for the good of all. Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Saturn in your sign opposes the new stellium in Taurus, occurring in your sector of Relationship. It is likely you will attract people to you who love to eat, so stock up the fridge! The Full Moon on Thursday is yours as well, and you will feel its magical effects as we move toward the weekend. Okay, so last week wasn’t as crazy good as I’d predicted but in a way it was due to hidden surveillance, your sign’s specialty. Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): We now have three planets in Taurus, forming the new stellium. This occurs in your solar sector of Work/Health, enabling you to manifest a passion into something potentially lucrative.
